You may have noticed how much brighter our washrooms became over a weekend earlier this month. We give a special thanks for Isabel and Clio for leading the effort – it took a lot of paint to cover those dark green walls! And thanks to the other friends and staff who stepped in to help including Sam, Felix, Thea, Iris, and Volker.
You may have also seen that we brought in a beautiful china hutch and buffet for the foyer outside the washrooms; they hold many of the dishes and materials for the Dream Cuisine dinners (and we figured it was a lot more attractive than a plywood shelf). We’re also adding cabinet space in the washrooms for supplies because we need more room in the back. As the bakery continues to grow, it takes every square inch it can get – and we’re glad for that!
