Cortes Natural Food Co-op is a community-owned cooperative business. We are passionate about bringing locally grown, organic, sustainably produced, healthy food to our community. With our Natural Food Market, Bakery, Deli & Espresso Bar, we bring the heart and soul of our island’s farmers, fishers, and foodies straight to your table!
The Cortes Natural Food Co-op is grateful to operate within the overlapping traditional territories of the ƛohos (Klahoose), ɬəʔamɛn (Tla’Amin) and χʷɛmaɬkʷu (Homalco) First Nations. The language spoken in these territories is ʔayʔaǰuθəm (ayajuthem), a northern dialect of the Coast Salish language group. Words and phrases in ʔayʔaǰuθəm can be learned using the language tool on First Voices.
