Calling All Local Growers!
We are planning an organizational meeting for local growers on Thursday, February 21st at 4:00 PM in the Co-op Cafe. Each year, we hold a meeting to review the last season and plan for the upcoming summer. We’ll talk about existing policies and procedures as well as big-picture visions about opportunities for more collaboration and communication.
Whether you’ve been bringing produce to the Co-op for a while or you’re just considering the idea of growing extra this year, we encourage you to attend. You can also join our Local Growers e-mail list at any time; just send me a message if you’re interested. We bought over $30,000 in local produce last year, and we could always buy more!
