Cafe / Bunches of roses to Sheena for all of her hard work as our Cafe Supervisor over the past year and a half. During her time as Supervisor, we experienced our busiest seasons ever in the history of the cafe. Thanks to the efficient systems that Sheena helped create, we were able to gracefully handle (for the most part) the increase in sales and customers. As Sheena moves on to other opportunities, we welcome back Corry as Cafe Supervisor for the fall and winter.
Kitchen / A big thank you to Thea for all of the creativity and dedication she shared with us over the summer as our Kitchen Supervisor, and for her service to the Board of Directors during 2017. We miss you Thea! The Kitchen welcomes our new supervisor, Shaun. Shaun was raised on Cortes Island. After high school, he moved to Vancouver to pursue his two life passions – music and food. Now, after 17 years away, he is back on Cortes and is excited to share and learn with the Co-op.
