In an effort to use more (delicious!) local produce, the bakery has purchased and processed an abundance of fruits and vegetables from island growers.  Squash and tomatoes have been roasted and stuffed into our savoury galettes, fruits cooked and spiced for our sweet muffins and pies.

Keep watch for this week’s shiny new pastry: the spiced apple danish.  A base of lovingly laminated croissant dough is piled high with local apples and buttery crumble, making this not-too-sweet pastry a warming cool weather treat.
